Camping Lauwersoog is located in the Lauwersmeer National Park, right next to the Wadden Sea World Heritage Site and close to the Schiermonnikoog National Park and the Middag-Humsterland National Landscape and close to Dokkum and Groningen! An excellent place for your water sports, culture or just relaxing holiday.

Children can burn off their energy in the indoor and outdoor (water) play areas and with the enthusiastic entertainment team. In the evening, you can all enjoy a delicious dinner in our renowned restaurant, ‘Het Booze Wijf'! A wide range of activities and services are available on site: children's play areas (indoor and outdoor), kids' clubs, bike hire and a launderette.

Lauwersoog Holiday Park is the ideal base for exploring three stunning nature reserves. The campsite is situated between Lauwersmeer National Park, Schiermonnikoog National Park and the Wadden Sea UNESCO World Heritage Site. This gives you the chance to enjoy the waterside surrounded by nature!

The Wadden Sea is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and has been named one of the most beautiful nature reserves in the Netherlands. Lauwersmeer National Park is a stunning nature reserve and a birdwatcher's paradise where hundreds of bird species have made their home, whilst Schiermonnikoog National Park is a beautiful island where nature takes its course. It is a paradise for nature lovers and sun worshippers. The island is car-free and easily accessible by ferry or water taxi from Lauwersoog.

As well as the nature reserves, this location has much more to offer. You can enjoy unique experiences here, such as mudflat walking to Schiermonnikoog, boat trips where you can spot seals and other wildlife, and how about dining on the mudflats?
